Autumn&Winter health care must haves!

Hey loves! So here in New Zealand its getting to that time of the year again when everybody is getting sick, your tan starts to fade away, your skin starts to go all dry, and its cold; yes i am talking about winter! Since I have been sick this last week I thought I would share a few of my favorite things that help me solider through the cold winter season.

Sadly summers been gone for a little while and my tan is slowly starting to fade away (*cries) and also my ball is about two months away. If your like me and to afraid to wear get a spray tan because your scared that your gonna look like a tangerine or a orange when you come out then here's the perfect solution; Dove Summer Glow gradual self tanner. Basically you apply this to the parts of your body that you want to make look like you have a gorgeous summer tan right after you have a shower, and it works perfectly i actually noticed a change in my skin color with in three days.

So since our lovely skin can go a bit dry in winter I thought I would share with you this moisturizer that I have been using for a good two years; it is by Vaseline and it works so well it keeps my skin nice and smooth, but also removes the appearance of dry skin at the same time.

The next thing that I strongly recommend having is Papaw ointment, which is an ointment that is made from fermented fruit that helps with insect bites, burns, cuts, chafing, etc etc. This is great for anytime of the year, obviously summer is coming up in the the northern hemisphere so if your going camping relatively soon then this is a must have item that needs to be in your first aid kit.

It's autumn now, it's starting to get a little chilly, and everyone is getting the cold! This is where the Vicks inhaler becomes perfect for blocked and runny noses, I honestly use this nearly all winter long night and day. So I would really recommend going down to the supermarket and buying one because you never know when your sitting in class taking notes then suddenly your that person who nose starts to run and your just sitting there holding your hand over your nose and trying to write (yes that has happened to me many times and its one of the most awkward things in the world!)

The last thing that I love to have throughout the chilly months are a few pretty nail polish colours, obviously you don't have to have these but its always fun to sit by the fire painting your nails while sipping on cup of hot cocoa.

These where just a few things that I use throughout the winter and any of these items can easily be purchased from your local supermarket/drugstore. Hope everyone in the northern hemisphere is excited for summer, and hang in there my southern hemisphere loves because summer will be here again before you know it. Also what is you must haves for the colder months?

Sunsets and Salty Hair,
XO

Also life update this last week I got to go and try on ball dresses again, and I actually purchased a dark navy chiffon halter neck ball dress. So now I have my ball dress, my shoes, and my jewelry, and now I just have to decide on what kind of hairstyle I'm going to have. If you guys have any suggestions/ or helpful tips on hair and/or makeup I would absolutely love to hear them. :) <3

  5. Even though I look hilarious when I use it in public, I absolutely love the Vick's inhaler for when I have a stuffy nose or if I'm sick (like right now). It's a lifesaver!

  7. I've been thinking about getting a gradual tanning lotion recently, I don't want to go full on with a spray tan either. I have a medium skin tone so hopefully this works well for me!
